The incident

She woke up being so happy and cute…I had no idea what I was about to find!

I go to change Harper into some daytime outfit and see a freakin flea on her back. We officially have a flea problem. WHICH MEANS I’M FREAKING OUT!!!! They mustve bit her ALL last night while we slept not knowing it! GUILT.
After panic ensues, I go buy the most expensive bug bombs I can find and come home to start operation: Get the F away from me and my baby! I am hoping for the best, and maybe I won’t see a single flea after this.

She got to sleep in the room with The Mommy while all the other rooms were being made to look like a war zone. Not her best nap, but hey, I’ll take it.

  1. She is just too cute! Hope you got the fleas under control. 🙂 I don’t want to rush my girls, but I can’t wait until they are that age to really start having more fun with them!!! 🙂

  2. Me too!! I was having what we southerners call a “come apart”. I have seen one flea since the bombs over Baghdad fumigating from yesterday. It was on John. I’ve just deducted he has fleas and it’s not my fault, it’s all his. this makes sense right?? It won’t be too long before they will interact more…I think 6 months really stood out to me because of the crawling and pulling up…she definitely recognized babies and wanted to play with them then! I’m excited to see pics of them playing up soon!

  3. Poor baby! My doughter had fleas also on her crib. She woke up with like 30 bites on her face and hands. I totally freaked out. But she wouldn´t even scratch her self, so I did nothing and all disappeared in 2 days. I washed all her sheets and no more fleas.
